About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer Intern, you'll shape the future of education by creating AI-driven interfaces that feel like intuitive study companions, not static dashboards.

Important: This is a paid internship (6-12 months) for students currently enrolled in a Canadian educational institution.

What You'll Do

  • Build modern, scalable UI with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript for iOS, Android, and web platforms.
  • Write high-quality, testable code with best practices (e.g., Jest unit tests, modular architecture, peer reviews) to ensure seamless, bug-free user experiences.
  • Integrate with our .NET, PostgreSQL, and Entity Framework backend to power features like real-time quiz generation, personalized schedules, and knowledge gap analysis.
  • Experiment with AI-driven UI innovations inspired by cutting-edge AI tools.
  • Collaborate with the team of talented engineers to ship features to build a world-class AI-driven learning platform.
  • Contribute to the mission of fostering retained knowledge and higher-order reasoning through delightful, data-driven learning flows.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Canadian educational institution.
  • Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of software development experience (academic, personal, or open-source projects).
  • Strong proficiency in React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and Node.js; familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Passion for high-quality code: experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and clean, modular design patterns.
  • AI-savvy: curious about and heavy users of AI technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative, no-ego mindset.
  • Bonus: Interest in full-stack development or experience with .NET/PostgreSQL.
